Today finds us at our favorite Thursday haunt- the Maetzold Amphitheatre at Centennial Lakes Park. Today we watched a singer/guitar player/juggler spin his magic (literally) in the form of silly kids songs, flaming clubs, and flying knives. As I sit here writing this, Hope is upstairs sleeping it off while Eva performs in front of me, aiming to keep three little people figurines whirling through the air. She's learning a lesson in persistence and practice...
After the show and picnic lunch, we wandered back to the bathrooms where we coincidentally arrived at the exact same time as 40 YMCA camp kindergartners. Again. How can that happen twice in one day in a bathroom with only three stalls?!?
We finished our excursion with a playful romp in the big fountains (despite much whining about wanting to go to the small fountains too). I think you'll be able to tell that the "big" fountains are just as much fun. And as an aside, I am feeling blessed today to be able to participate in these fun activities practically right outside our front door. What a life!
