More language learning

Hope not only walks, she talks! She has been saying words for a few months now, but I haven't recorded much about it. So, again, for the sake of record keeping, here we go!

Hope says:

mom
mommy
dad
da-y (daddy)
doh-y (doggy)
(a barking noise)
ba-y (baby)
no
nose
uh-oh
ball
nigh (good-night)
Ella
nurse
eye (for both eye and eyebrow)
hi
heh-o (hello)
bye-bye

and last, but certainly not least:

SCREACH!!! (for everything else a child could want)

Jess,
I don't know. I suppose we sort of practice with them. Once they start a little, we really encourage it! But, what do they say? On average, women speak 20,000 words per day and men speak 7,000? Looks like the stereotype is true for babies too ;)!
